Job Summary:
The Maintenance Director at Greenwood Connections is responsible for Overseeing the maintenance staff and upkeep of the facility, including buildings, grounds, and equipment. You will work closely with the maintenance team to provide prompt and efficient maintenance services to create a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable environment for our senior residents.
Essential Functions:
Oversees routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to repairing or replacing fixtures, electrical switches and outlets, plumbing fixtures, and HVAC systems, in accordance with applicable codes and regulations.
· Follows all established safety procedures and precautions when performing maintenance services.
· Manages maintenance tasks, such as inspecting equipment and facilities, identifying potential issues, and addressing them to prevent further damage or costly repairs.
· Manages troubleshooting and repairing physical plant and equipment such as lighting, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, in a timely and efficient manner.
· Oversees maintenance requests from residents and staff in a timely and compassionate manner, addressing concerns with professionalism and sensitivity to the needs of residents, families and fellow staff.
· Manages staff with maintaining the cleanliness and safety of common areas, grounds, and walkways, including snow removal, landscaping, and general cleanliness of the facility.
· Coordinates with vendors to complete needed repairs that cannot be done in-house, along with preventative maintenance items to comply with emergency preparedness and facility safety needs.
· Maintains inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment, and coordinating with vendors for timely procurement of replacement parts or supplies.
· Interacts with residents, staff, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any questions, concerns, or complaints related to maintenance services.
· Collaborates with other departments to ensure a coordinated approach to providing exceptional services to residents.
· Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as community policies and procedures.

· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
